Southwest Michigan Irrigation - Since 2003 Michigan State University has conducted soil moisture monitoring and irrigation scheduling on a limited basis in southwest Michgian. MSU is now expanding this service on a pay for service basis to all irrigators within the Berrien and Van Buren County areas. The fee will vary depending on the length of the crop season.
