 AIM:

To acquaint undergraduate agricultural engineering students with basic principles and techniques which they will need to effectively manage the resources, of an agribusiness.

 l. ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGNS

 Types of Organization (2 Hours)

•  private enterprises; sole traders, partnerships and frachises, limited laibility companies;
•  cooperatives.

•  span of control;
•  line, staff and functional organisation;
•  organization by geogrphic area, function, product brand or customer;

•  Leadership and Motivition (3 Hours)
•  Leadership styles;
•  Theory X and Theory Y;
•  Taylor's Principles of scientific management;
•  Herztberg's hygiene theory;
