Money Smart Youth Ambassadors
Five youth from across Michigan became financial leaders this past April by stepping up to the challenge of becoming the first inaugural Money Smart Youth Ambassadors, a program coordinated by Michigan State University Extension 4-H Youth Development Program. These youth were selected as a result of winning a 4-H Money Smart Contest and have been charged with sharing their knowledge with their peers.
Money Smart Youth Ambassadors have gained leadership and public speaking experience by presenting during Teen Talk: Money Tips webinar, starring in a Wallet Watch podcast hosted by Michigan State University Federal Credit Union, writing articles and providing valuable input into future financial education programs.
