Here is some general information to make you visit to the 4-H Children's Gardens something really special. There is no admission fee to visit the gardens.
Outdoor 4-H Children's Gardens
The gardens are open from sunup to sundown every day.
Indoor 4-H Children's Garden
The Indoor 4-H Children's Garden is closed for 2021.

We are in the Plant & Soil Sciences Building which is located on the corner of Wilson Road and Bogue Street on the campus of Michigan State University. (We are across from the Vet Clinic and kitty-corner from the Wharton Center). We look forward to seeing you!
The meters in the Horticulture Gardens parking lot are in effect from 7 am to 10 pm, Monday through Friday. You must park in a space designated as a "Pay by Plate" parking space. Parking in a space not marked as "Pay by Plate" may result in a parking violation. Immediately after parking, go to the SPOTON pay station or use the MSU SPOTON app to enter your license plate number. Pay stations accept cash payment or credit cards. The stations do not give change back nor are refunds issued for time paid for, but not used.
Parking meters are not in effect on Saturday or Sunday.
Due to restrictions in response to the coronavirus pandemic, there are no restrooms available in the gardens or in the Plant & Soil Science Building. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Eating in the Gardens
We invite you to enjoy a meal in the 4-H Children's Gardens, but please be safe and maintain proper social distancing. We also encourage you to bring your own sanitizing wipes for the table and seats.
We encourage you to eat in the Creation Station area. Make sure you use trash receptacles. Unfortunately, there is no drinking water available, so bring your own drinks.
