MSU Extension CHAMP: COVID-19 Hazard Assessment and Mitigation Program

The MSU Extension CHAMP Tool is designed to help agriculture operations reduce the risk of worker exposure to COVID-19 and further mitigate disease spread. This tool will assist farms and businesses involved in the industry with designing a pandemic preparedness plan tailored to their operations. It will also help operations conduct a job/task-based hazard assessment aimed at identifying risks for exposure and once risks are identified, to develop appropriate mitigation practices supporting worker safety and health. The agriculture-centric pandemic preparedness education and support materials developed are designed to align with federal, state and local guidance.
