Five County 4-H Summer Camp Information

What are you doing this summer? Join us at summer camp, with 4-H’ers from Alcona, Montmorency, Otsego, and Presque Isle counties! Learn about natural resources, the environment, our Great Lakes, and more while participating in awesome games and group activities with campers throughout northeast Michigan! Camp activities include archery, kayaking or canoeing, water exploration sessions, and more - this year’s camp theme is all about S.T.E.M. learning! You do not have to be a 4-H member to attend summer camp. Make sure to register for camp early, space fills quick!

Where: Ocqueoc Outdoor Center (Presque Isle County)

When: Monday, June 24—Wednesday, June 26, 2019 - TBD if counselors stay until June 27)

Who: Youth ages 9-12 years old - Youth that will be 9 years old by the start of camp are eligible to attend

Cost: $85.00 (additional $20 for non 4-H members)

Transportation: Campers are required to find their own transportation to and from camp; carpooling is encouraged.

Please turn your completed summer camp registration and payment into the Alpena MSU Extension office.

Registration Opens: March 4, 2019 (each county gets 13 spaces, first-come - Then campers go on a waiting list until May 1st to see if extra spaces are open)

Deadline to register for camp: Thursday, May 16, 2019, by 4:30pm
