2026 ANR AWARD RECIPIENTS
The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) at Michigan State University (MSU) will honor leaders in agriculture and natural resources for their accomplishments and service at the community, state, national or international levels during the ANR Awards Program on Friday, February 27, 2026.
The 2026 ANR Award recipients will be annouced soon.
CANR DEAN'S PINNACLE OF EXCELLENCE AWARD
The Dean's Pinnacle of Excellence Award is presented to alumni who have obtained the pinnacle of achievement in their field and brought distinction to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Created in 2023, this award is the highest accolade awarded by the dean.OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARDS
Two awards for CANR Outstanding Alumni were given to those who have distinguished themselves by obtaining the highest level of professional accomplishments, and who possess the highest standards of integrity and character.
CULTURE, ACCESS AND BELONGING ALUMNI AWARD
The Culture, Access and Belonging Award recognizes alumni for their professional accomplishments, service and contributions to CANR, their field and community.
HONORARY ALUMNI AWARDS
The Honorary Alumni Award is given to individuals who have made a distinctive contribution to CANR on a state, national or international level; has relieved the suffering of disadvantaged people; or contributed to any unique program that benefits humankind.
ALUMNI SERVICE AWARD
The CANR Alumni Service Award selection is made from candidates who have demonstrated continuing outstanding volunteer service to MSU, CANR or meritorious public service on a local, state, national or international level. Candidates must possess the highest standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of CANR.
DISTINGUISHED FACULTY AWARD
Distinguished Faculty Awards recognize faculty members who have brought distinction to the CANR through teaching, research and/or outreach and provided leadership that has helped students, faculty members and/or citizens reach their potential for excellence.
OUTSTANDING UP AND COMING ALUMNI AWARD
The CANR Outstanding Up and Coming Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have completed their first degree within the last 15 years from the Institute of Agricultural Technology program or completed a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in the College Agriculture and Natural Resources at MSU and have distinguished themselves by obtaining a high level of professional accomplishment. Awardees possess high standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
