2026 ANR AWARD RECIPIENTS

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) at Michigan State University (MSU) will honor leaders in agriculture and natural resources for their accomplishments and service at the community, state, national or international levels during the ANR Awards Program on Friday, February 27, 2026. 

The 2026 ANR Award recipients will be annouced soon. 

OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARDS

The CANR Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have distinguished themselves by obtaining the highest level of professional accomplishments, and who possess the highest standards of integrity and character.

CULTURE, ACCESS AND BELONGING ALUMNI AWARD

The Culture, Access and Belonging Award recognizes alumni for significant achievements, commitment, service, mentorship and leadership contributions that celebrate and advance culture, access and belonging initiatives.

HONORARY ALUMNI AWARDS

The Honorary Alumni Award is given to individuals whose lasting contributions to the college enhance lives and support meaningful efforts that strengthen the well‑being of society.

ALUMNI SERVICE AWARD

The CANR Alumni Service Award selection is made from candidates who have demonstrated continuing outstanding volunteer service to MSU, CANR or meritorious public service on a local, state, national or international level. Candidates must possess the highest standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of CANR.

DISTINGUISHED FACULTY AWARD

The Distinguished Faculty Award recognizes faculty members who have brought distinction to the CANR through teaching, research and/or outreach and provided leadership that has helped students, faculty members and/or citizens reach their potential for excellence.

OUTSTANDING UP AND COMING ALUMNI AWARD

The CANR Outstanding Up and Coming Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have completed their first degree within the last 15 years from the Institute of Agricultural Technology program or completed a bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in the College Agriculture and Natural Resources at MSU and have distinguished themselves by obtaining a high level of professional accomplishment. Awardees possess high standards of integrity and character to positively reflect and enhance the prestige of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
