How and when to use the following .eps files: This vector file type may be opened in "draw" type software such as Adobe Illustrator. It is useful when providing files to professional designers, sign companies, print vendors. It may be placed into layout programs such as Adobe InDesign for high resolution print publications or signage. When downloading .eps files with Internet Explorer, the file extension is automatically changed from ".eps" to ".ps". To ensure the integrity of the file, please change the file extension back to ".eps" before saving it to your computer.
How and when to use the following .jpg files: This bitmap file type may be opened in most "paint" type software (for example, Adobe Photoshop) or placed into most common word processing, publishing, presentation software files. All following files are 150 resolution. (Note that this file type may be scaled smaller however it has limited ability for enlargement beyond sizes noted without loss of print quality. Larger high resolution file sizes are available on the MSU CANR Sharepoint server by logging in and navigating to the MSUE/MSUE All Staff/Logos and Wordmarks area or by requesting from ANR Communications at email@example.com)

How and when to use the following .gif files: This bitmap file type may be opened in most "paint" type software (for example, Adobe Photoshop) or placed into most common web applications. The resolution of these files is only appropriate for web use - not for print.
