OSU Agriculture is embarking on New Frontiers as construction begins for a new, state-of-the-art teaching, research and Extension facility. The New Frontiers Agricultural Hall will prioritize experiential learning, adaptive research and a strong sense of community through strategically designed spaces; foster learning and collaboration; and harness energy and excitement of innovation.
Construction Updates
Constructing Three Floors in Sections
November 9, 2022
The three floors of the new building are being constructed in sections. Construction crews started with the more complicated infrastructure in the research labs on the south side of the building. Currently, they are setting forms to pour the second-floor concrete on the north side of the building and will continue upwards during the next few weeks.

New Frontiers
The $50 million historic gift from the Ferguson Family Foundation launched the New Frontiers fundraising campaign to build a state-of-the-art teaching, research and Extension facility for OSU Agriculture. $25 million is slated for the New Frontiers campaign, and $25 million provides an endowment for the Ferguson College of Agriculture.
