The Department of Entomology Outstanding Staff Award

Award: $750

To recognize excellence in overall job performance, outstanding interpersonal skills and contributions to the department/program that lead to efficiency, effectiveness, and other accomplishments.

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be a current MSU Entomology CT, AP, or APSA employee

Entomology staff members are eligible to receive this award more than once.

Required Nomination materials:

• A letter of nomination from the employee’s direct supervisor
• An additional letter of support

The Department of Entomology Outstanding Postdoc Award

Award: $750

To recognize excellence in overall job performance, outstanding interpersonal skills & working relations and contributions to the department/program that lead to efficiency, effectiveness and other accomplishments. The achievement of excellence can be in the areas of research, extension and/or teaching.

Eligibility requirements:

• Must be a current Postdoc in MSU Entomology or have been a Postdoc in the department within the last 12 months.
• Must have worked in the department for at least 1.5 years

Required Nomination materials:

• A letter of nomination from any Entomology faculty or staff member
• One additional letter of support from a colleague or current supervisor
• A complete CV of the nominee
