About
Michigan State University’s Department of Entomology, housed within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR), is a national and international leader in the study of arthropod biology, ecology and management. We offer Bachelor of Science degrees (major or minor), as well as Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs.
Our work touches daily life—spanning agriculture to natural ecosystems to urban environments. Faculty, students and staff conduct research with real-world impact, and we are deeply committed to sharing knowledge through outreach across Michigan via Extension and around the globe. Graduates of MSU Entomology become innovators in agriculture, policy, education and science.
Insects are everywhere—and so are we.
