Find out if the USDA Value-Added Program will help you advance your farm business. The grant program helps producers enter into value-added activities related to the processing and/or marketing of value-added products. Generating new products, creating and expanding marketing opportunities, and increasing producer income are the goals of the program. MSU Extension and Product Center staff will discuss how they can assist applicants. USDA, Michigan State University Extension, and Michigan State University Product Center, and other partners will be on hand.
Independent producers, agricultural producer groups, farmer- or rancher-cooperatives, and majority-controlled producer-based business ventures, as defined in the program regulation, are eligible to apply for this program.
