Adopt-A-Highway is a Michigan Department of Transportation program designed to help keep the state's highway roadsides clean and attractive.  The Friends of Hidden Lake Gardens adopts Highway M-50 one mile east and one mile west of the main entrance.  Anyone 12 years of age or older may participate; youth age 12-17 years must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.  Participants should dress for the weather and wear closed toe shoes or boots and bring a pair of work gloves.  No experience necessary, training will be provided.  Meet in the Visitors Center parking lot.  Registration is appreciated but not required.  Call 517-431-2060.
