Winter can be a hard season for our mental health. If you are in need of a boost to your mental health self-care as we head into spring, join us for Spring Into Mental Well-Being, a 4-part series about learning to better understand our mental health and how to care for it. Participants are welcome to sign up for any or all sessions.
Part 2 is Be Kind to Your Mind, which is part of the West Virginia Extension Stress Less with Mindfulness series. This session will discuss the following:
- Practicing mindful attention to thoughts.
- Observing and letting go of thoughts.
- Understanding how the brain works under stress.
- Learning the power of acceptance and gratitude to relieve stress.
