Join the MSU Extension's blueberry team as we kick off the 2024 season! The kickoff will take place from 9:00 am - 11:00 am and a pruning demo hosted by Blueberry and Small Fruit Educator Cheyenne Sloan will follow (weather permitting) until Noon.  This workshop is being held in person at Trevor Nichols Research Center in Fennville Michigan or via Zoom. 

9:00 –Rufus Isaacs – Managing Early Insect Pests

9:30 – Tim Miles – Mummy Berry and Stem Blights

10:00 – Josh VanderWeide – Horticulture Program Update

10:30 – Carlos Garcia Salazar – Frost protection

11:00 – Pruning
