Bringing the Farm to School: A Training for Agricultural Producers to Sell to Schools

Register for this learning opportunity designed to give farmers the training and tools to build their capacity to launch or grow efforts to market to schools. Using a national curriculum with interactive sessions, the team of experienced trainers will share insights from many years of farm to school work in Michigan.

This training is part of the Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable, and Farm Market Expo (GLEXPO). It is open to any agricultural producers based in the Great Lakes Region, and it will include discussion of some examples, stories, and opportunities from Michigan.

Registration fee is $65 for single-day (Thursday) registration for this training, or $115 to attend all three days of GLEXPO from December 6 – 8. On-site registration is available.

This training is brought to you by the Michigan Farm to Institution Network, which is coordinated by the MSU Center for Regional Food Systems with support from MSU Extension, along with the Michigan Department of Education and Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
