CANR Undergraduate & IAT Commencement Ceremonies: Spring 2021

Michigan State University will hold an outdoor commencement ceremonies on April 30 for IAT students and undergraduate students in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

MSU Commencement Details
Spring 2021 Commencements are for Spring 2021 Semester Graduates Only.
Each graduate will receive an email invitation from MSU in mid-March to which you MUST RSVP. Each graduate will be allowed two guests and ceremonies will require tickets. See more information on the MSU Commencement website.
NOTE: The RSVP and number of attendees for commencement ceremonies is limited. MSU will livestream the ceremonies.
CANR Commencement Ceremonies
CANR commencement ceremonies will be held at different times on April 30 for IAT students and undergraduate students based on their academic programs. All CANR ceremonies on April 30 will be held in the Breslin Center Parking Lot.
April 30: 8-9:30 a.m.
Students graduating from:
- Department of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics (agribusiness management, environmental economics and management, and food industry management majors).
- Department of Animal Science (animal science major).
- Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Sciences (crop and soil sciences major).
Student Speaker: Holly Pummell, environmental economics and management bachelor’s degree program.
April 30: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Students graduating from:
- Institute of Agricultural Technology (all certificate programs).
- Department of Entomology (entomology major).
- Department of Horticulture (horticulture major).
- School of Packaging (packaging major).
- School of Planning, Design and Construction (construction management, interior design, landscape design and urban and regional planning majors).
Student Speaker: Recent alum Ashley Prince, construction management bachelor's degree program.
April 30: 2-3:30 p.m.
Students graduating from:
- Department of Community Sustainability (agriculture, food and natural resources education, environmental studies and sustainability and sustainable parks, recreation and tourism majors).
- Department of Fisheries and Wildlife (fisheries and wildlife major).
- Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition (dietetics, food science and nutritional sciences majors).
- Department of Forestry (forestry major).
Student Speaker: Jessica Diaz, fisheries and wildlife bachelor’s degree program.
April 30: 4 p.m.
