Create your own Butterfly Garden

John Blair will cover the steps necessary to make a successful butterfly garden including how to select native, host, and nectar plants that are suited for SE Michigan gardens.  John will also discuss Monarch butterfly conservation and how you can help by planting milkweed in your flower beds and landscape.  The presentation will close with a short slide show set to music showing an entire season - from early spring to the first snow - in Mr. Blair's personal butterfly garden.  $20 per person / $15 Friends of HLG member.  Please call 517-431-2060 to register.
