November 1st features a team from the Center for Regional Food System with their talk entitled "Great Lakes Midwest Regional Food Business Center – decisions by the community for the community."

 

Seminar Summary: USDA awarded MSU Center for Regional Food Systems $20 million  to provide grants and technical assistance to food and farm businesses, prioritizing entrepreneurs who have been historically marginalized. This Center, covering 4 states and including tribal collaboration, will build network infrastructure for fund allocation that aims to embed sovereignty and community-led decision-making into grantmaking.
