The first recorded use of tortillas by the Aztecs dates back to 10,000 BC and were made from corn. When the Spanish explorers arrived in the late 14th century they brought wheat spawning the flour tortilla.  Tortillas a staple in Mexican cooking can be used as an appetizer, entre, dessert or stand alone ingredient. In this class we will make something for each.
