Dr. Sze-Yen Tan is an Advanced Accredited Practicing Dietitian (Dietitians Australia) and a Registered Nutritionist (Nutrition Society of Australia). He completed his Bachelor of Dietetics (Hons) degree at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Masters and PhD in Australia, and Post-doctoral training in USA. His research focuses on using pragmatic and effective dietary strategies, such as nut supplementation, to promote optimal body weight, metabolic health, and healthy ageing in older adults. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Deputy Course Director of the Bachelor of Nutrition Science program at Deakin University in Australia. He is also serving as an Associate Editor of Nutrition & Dietetics, and the First Editor of British Journal of Nutrition.
