Funding Your Farm through Alternative Lending

May 20, 2021 12:00PM - 2:00PM

The National Young Farmers Coalition is hosting a virtual event about how to fund your farm. This is for anyone interested in starting a farm and current farm owners. If you do not want to utilize traditional lenders or have a barrier to do so, this event will be helpful in learning about more flexible loan options, no matter your credit history.

You'll hear about a new "crowdfarming" platform called Steward, as well as learn about the Michigan Good Food Fund and their personalized loan assistance for farms. After these presentations, you will have the opportunity to meet one on one with a service provider to talk about your specific situation and get recommendations. Please fill out the questions when you register so you can be matched to a service provider.
