Healthy Animals, Strong Farms – Biosecurity Training for Service Providers
Healthy Animals, Strong Farms is a goal for Michigan agriculture. Protecting animal health starts at the farm and includes anyone that may visit the farm. Knowing the steps to take to support animal health is critical for farms, farmers and visitors. MSU Extension, Michigan Food and Farming Systems and the Center for Regional Food Systems have partnered to offer biosecurity training for agricultural service providers. This interactive training will focus on the protocols to help prevent the spread of disease when working with farms.
