Join us on June 1, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in Okemos, MI for a free rain garden workshop designed for beginners. Discover the beauty and power of native plants and how to prevent flooding and attract pollinators to your yard from an MSU Extension Advanced Master Gardener. During this workshop learn the basics of building, designing, and maintaining a rain garden and tour a local rain garden to learn tips and tricks from an experienced gardener. You will leave the workshop with rain garden and native plant resources and a whole new appreciation for rain water.

This free workshop is hosted in conjunction with MSU Extension, the Greater Lansing Regional Committee for Stormwater Management, Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, and Meridian Township.

This is a free event. Registration is required.
