Contact: For more information, please contact the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary at 269-671-2510.
What type land are you working with? Meghan Milbrath, who works with the Michigan Pollinator Initiative through Michigan State University's Department of Entomology, will discuss the needs of native pollinators and targeted strategies for land restoration. We will identify key plants for pollinators and discuss how we can propagate them, using the Sanctuary’s Pollinator Gardens as an outdoor classroom.
Mike Connor, certified Arborist and owner of Honeytree Arborist Services, will share insights about the best trees for pollinators. Mike will bring some of the recommended trees for those who want to purchase them after the workshop.
