Paul Gross, MSU Extension (retired) will cover elements common to all land lease agreements and will focus in on key landowner considerations for solar leases. Participants will learn key “lessons” from nearby Isabella County where Mr. Gross was instrumental in helping landowners negotiate renewable energy lease terms as a group
Legal Considerations
Attorney Trent Hilding (Montcalm County) will discuss legal considerations for solar land leasing. Mr. Hilding is a farmer and specializes in agricultural law, business law, and estate planning.
