Kent County 4-H Community Service Day

April 30, 2020 5:00PM - 6:45PM

Humane Society of West Michigan 3077 Wilson Dr. NW Grand Rapids, MI 49534

Contact: Alexis Garbo

Be a part of helping the Humane Society of West Michigan during this fun, hands-on, community service day. An outdoor activity will take place that youth will be able to explore animal enrichment tools that the West Michigan Humane Society uses for their current animal residents. Get a tour of the shelter and learn about the behind the scenes of the everyday happenings at the shelter.

We will also be hosting a supply drive leading up to the event of items that can be donated to the shelter and giving the items to the shelter during our community service day. Here are some items that the shelter is always in need of:

  • Monetary Donations
  • Canned wet cat food
  • Canned Tuna in water
  • Canned Dog Food
  • Stuffed dog toys or ropes
  • Kongs
  • Dog feeder puzzle toys
  • Blankets

Canned wet food is a high priority need for the shelter!
