4/21/25 UPDATE: Unfortunately this event has been cancelled due to weather. We hope to schedule another event in the summer that aligns with a different meteor shower. 

Original Event Information:

MSU Astronomy Outreach Group and the Corey Marsh Ecological Center present Marshside Meteor Magic. Join us on April 21st from 9 pm to 11 pm to watch the Lyrid meteor shower, use telescopes to take high-exposure photos of Mars and Jupiter, and engage with the MSU astronomy community! The event will take place at 9422 Herbison Rd, Laingsburg, MI 48848. More details on parking as we get closer since we need to make sure headlights do not interfere with the viewing activity!
