Buy candy, make candy, sell candy...what CAN’T you do with candy?  Join Mason County 4-H as we take part in Mason County 4-H Sweet Sales, a workshop devoted to that truly sweet treat...CANDY!

Participants will learn how to make homemade lollipops using a handful of ingredients and also explore some of the science that goes into candy making.  While the lollipops are cooling, participants will also get to explore what goes into running a candy store and learn how to budget for materials, how to price their product, and how to determine their profit.  These skills will also be related to 4-H Market livestock projects.

The event will be a hybrid style event (both in-person and virtual).  The  in-person event will be held at the WSCC Rec Center, Room 422.  Those attending in person will need to bring a glass 2 or 4-cup measuring cup to mix their ingredients in.  All other tools and ingredients will be provided.

Because this workshop will be hosted indoors, in accordance with MSU Extension policy, those attending in person must wear masks during programming.
