Is a candy cane denser than the elf on the shelf?  Is there a geometrically perfect tree?  Questions like these are what you can find answers to during your holiday break!

Mason County 4-H is hosting a virtual scavenger hunt over the Holiday break where participants will be challenged to complete some festive and holiday themed STEM missions.  Each completed mission will earn you points and the three highest point totals wins a sweet science prize.

The scavenger hunt is open to all youth ages 10 thru 19 (as of Jan. 1, 2022).  To take part, all participants need to have access to a smart device with the GooseChase scavenger hunt app downloaded.  Youth ages 13 and up can set up their own GooseChase profile but those ages 12 and under will need an adult’s help.  Please have the profile name contain the participant’s last name.

Registration opens November 1, 2021 and closes December 15, 2021.

The scavenger hunt runs from December 17, 2021 thru January 5, 2022.
