MSU graduate student Nicole Wonderling will share about moths in Michigan and her work on moth pollination in urban gardens, and extension master gardener Jean Persley will describe the process of rearing caterpillars. Following both talks, we will set up moth collection sheets at the gardens right outside the seminar room and collect and identify moths in the garden.

Certified extension master gardeners: Extension master gardeners will earn 2 education hours which should be reported under Environmental stewardship - Pollinators.

Instructors: Nicole Wonderlin is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Entomology at Michigan State University. She studies moths in urban gardens and pollination biology.
Jean Persley is an extension master gardener who manages a landscape design and butterfly rearing business.
