Spend time exploring the world of plants and their partners as you explore the science behind pollination and pollinators. What are pollinators, and why are they important to us? Plants and Their Partners focuses on the interdependence of plants and animals including plants, pollinators, and pollination. Aligned with literacy, math, and Next Generation Science Standards, students will grow plants, collect data, dissect seeds, design a pollinator garden, as they investigate plant science with place-based projects and investigations. Interact with MSU Tollgate Farm staff, visit the fields and gardens, engage in STEM challenges, and learn about how we can help our pollinators. Interactive sessions complement investigations and activities on the blog. The next best thing to being on the farm!
For grades K-3
Cost: $40 first youth participant, $25 additional youth Grades K-3 in family
