One-Hour RUP Core Credit – Michigan Safety Conference Session

April 14, 2026 11:30AM - 12:30PM

Lansing Center - 333 E Michigan Ave Lansing, MI

MSU College of Human Medicine, Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine will be presenting at the conference on respiratory protection in agriculture. In addition to presenting, MSU will host a one-hour CORE RUP credit and submit to MDARD for those applicators that attend and sign in after the presentation.  The presentation will not only address respiratory protection program requirements but will introduce a recently published online guide for respiratory protection. The guide was developed by MSU and MSU Extension, with input from MIOSHA CET, MDARD, and MSU PSEP. The guide can be found here:  Respiratory Protection Requirements in Agriculture. Although the guide is designed to address both pesticide and non-pesticide respiratory protection situations, care will be taken to ensure WPS requirements are covered, including label criteria and selection options that meet label minimum requirements, WPS training and recordkeeping.
