Many communities in Michigan are facing challenges meeting their housing needs. This one-hour webinar will discuss a wide catalog of proven zoning and policy options that can help increase the amount and variety of housing stock in a community.

To plan for and implement solutions to these housing challenges, it is important to accurately define issues facing your community and choose actions that align to those issues. This webinar will discuss a wide catalog of proven zoning and policy options that can help increase the amount and variety of housing stock in a community. We will present rural, suburban, and urban housing considerations and share examples from Michigan related to zoning regulations and policies that support ‘missing middle’ housing, attainable workforce options, and more.

This webinar will cover:

  • Key housing terms and tends
  • Zoning and other policy options for meeting a community’s housing goals
  • Additional programs and housing resources

Participants will receive a Zoom link, presentation materials, and a reminder email before the event begins. A recording of program will be provided after the event has ended.
