MASTER THE SCIENCE AND ART OF PRUNING

Pruning is an important cultural practice used to maintain the health, safety, vigor, and appearance, of woody plants. It involves both art and science: art, in shaping plants in harmony with their growth habit to enhance their appearance, and science, in knowing how, when, where, and why, to prune for maximum benefit.

MSU Extension Senior Horticulture Educator, Rebecca Finneran will lead interactive online Zoom webinars designed to help participants learn best practices for pruning and the proper tools it takes for each job. You will be able to ask questions and interact with the Rebecca. Prior to the workshop you have selected, you will have the option to submit photos for discussion and analysis, as time allows.

For your convenience, the same WEBINAR is being offered on two different days. All sessions will be recorded and the recording link sent to registrants after the session.

   *  A computer, laptop or tablet with the latest version of your browser

   *   A reliable, internet connection - broadband wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE)

   *  Webcam or HD webcam - built-in or USP plug-in

Three hands-on workshops will be offered in conjunction with the webinar. You must register for a webinar in order to be able to attend a hands-on workshop. The workshops are being held at 2 different locations! Please note the day, time, and location before you select a workshop.
