Red Leg Farms currently has a fold of 20 head of mostly Scottish Highland cattle and a flock of 25 Katahdin haired sheep. Livestock are on pasture year-round and grass fed using holistic management practices and managed grazing. Finished animals are direct marketed as 100% grass fed and sold to customers by the 1/2 or whole. There are 108 acres total, mostly pasture used for rotational grazing, including a 22-acre leased former crop land which is being converted to pasture and a 7-acre silvopasture project planned for summer 2023.
