Web Portfolio with JS

Are you ages 11-17 years and curious about how to build a website?

Through the exciting world of technology, you will grow as a person by learning collaboration, creativity, decision-making, and logic.

Participants will be given two options to register.


Option 1: Space is limited to 8 participants. Face to Face programming practicing social distance guidelines with supervision from staff from the Dock Ministries. Virtual instructions will be provided by The Loop Coding Center. Chromebooks and WIFI access will be provided by The Dock Ministries. Face to Face with virtual instruction on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. starting on September 28 - November 4. The Dock Ministries is located at 4669 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, MI 49508.

Option 2: Virtually Programming on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 p.m. starting on September 29 - November 5.

Course Overview and Goals
Our courses at Loop Coding Center teaches students the basics of programming without prior coding experience. On this course, Web Portfolio with JS students will focus on building an animated digital portfolio that can be build on throughout a lifetime. Students will engage and learn:

  • Basic HTML5
  • Basic CSS
  • Basic JavaScripts Skills
  • Resume Building Skills
  • Remote Work Skills
