Project Description

The Forest Carbon and Climate Program (FCCP) has received financial support from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund to initiate creation of a new E-Course on Forest Carbon and Climate Change for a broad, interdisciplinary audience. The course will pull from the knowledge, expertise, and engagement of other FCCP partnerships and activities.

With this funding, the FCCP has taken the initial steps to develop a non-credit short course that will be fully instructed and coordinated online. Such non-formal educational offerings will be aligned with relevant continuing education units (CEUs) when possible. The programming will be designed to reach across professional disciplines and will focus on specific aspects of forest carbon management. As with the Graduate Certificate, programming will rely on best practices in online education to offer remote learning opportunities.
