Advancing Food Systems through AI-Enabled Engineering

Welcome to the Food AI and Engineering Lab!

We are an interdisciplinary team developing biologically contextualized AI models to forecast microbial behavior in complex food and biosystems. Our work integrates wet lab experiments with computational modeling to improve pathogen detection, characterize soil microbiome interactions, and predict microbial responses under dynamic conditions.
