FW 491: Recreational Fishing
2 Credit Lecture, Optional 1 Credit Lab, Summer Session 2

The lab course will consist of 2 weekend fieldtrips to northern Michigan. Topics will include animal care, best practices, safety, and fishing techniques.
This course is for you if: you enjoy fishing, or are interested in learning to fish, and want to know more about its scientific basis; you have a ‘non-aquatic’ FW concentration, but would like to broaden your experiences and delve into the fisheries side of things.
Register for Section 731 (lecture) and optional Section 701 (lab).
