Responsibilities

As Assistant Horticulture Technician  with Hines, you will be responsible to carry out tasks relating to: plant health, plant maintenance, facility management, integrated pest management, and other designated tasks in Amazon’ greenhouse facility and/or The Spheres. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Physically perform general landscape maintenance within The Spheres and/or Redmond Greenhouse, including planting, weeding, spraying, irrigation, pest control, and pruning, according to written maintenance and safety standards
  • Maintains upkeep and organization of various BOH areas
  • Work with Horticulture Program team on the transfer of plant material  to and from the Spheres and other locations via motor vehicle
  • Maintain and update climate, fertilizer, and pesticide logbooks
  • Assists in facility and structural maintenance

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Experience with landscape or related labor
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
