Grunder Landscaping Co is seeking an Assistant Landscape Designer who is organized, efficient, and can complete daily tasks with minimal management. The Assistant Landscape Designer position is specifically designed to transition into a Landscape Design/Salesperson role. The preferred candidate will have strong knowledge of plant materials for Ohio and VectorWorks CAD.

 

This position reports to the Lead Landscape Designer and does not supervise any employees.

Assistant Landscape Designer Duties.

  • Assist Landscape Designers with field measurements
  • Client Communication
  • Design concept drawings
  • Detail construction drawings
  • Input elements from plans into estimation software
  • Provide graphic assistance when needed for presentations
  • Review project during all phases

Assistant Landscape Designer Requirements:

  • BS or AS degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or Landscape Horticulture or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of CAD / Digital Drawings
  • Willingness to Grow into Landscape Designer / Sales position
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

Assistant Landscape Designer Preferred Requirements:

  • Ohio Plant Material knowledge
  • Knowledge of VectorWorks CAD software
  • Sales Experience
