Summer Internship 2024 – Fredericksburg, Texas

Boot Ranch is a Hal Sutton design located in Fredericksburg, the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The property consists of an 18-hole, top 10 ranked golf course in the state of Texas, with a 34-acre practice area. Additionally, amenities include a Ranch Club with pools and sports complexes, as well as a

clubhouse and lake club nestled on an 11-acre lake. In 2017 the club underwent a successful 3-million- dollar renovation including: the construction of the 1-acre green known as the “Putting Park”, redesigned bunkers installed with bunker solutions liners, and a full conversion from Bent grass to Tif-Eagle Ultra- Dwarf Bermudagrass putting greens.

 

 

Boot Ranch is looking for interns for 2024 and is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience

throughout multiple different facets of golf course maintenance. Applicants will be directly involved in summertime Bermudagrass greens management which can range from cultural practices to moisture management. Additionally, there will be opportunities for hands on experience with chemical

applications, and irrigation repair/maintenance. Interns with work closely with the Superintendent and Assistant to be exposed to all facets of the operation.
