SUMMARY:

The landscape management supervisor is responsible for creating and maintaining landscape enhancements and ensuring that clients are continually pleased with their outdoor spaces.

COMPENSATION:

$20-24 per hour (or equivalent salary) plus bonuses - Based on experience/performance

SCHEDULE:

This position requires a hybrid at-home and in-field work schedule, with the position holder creating their own schedule as needed. 40+ hours per week are expected. This position is currently seasonal (May-November) – however, the work season may be extended as new services are added.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Michigan driver’s license, or ability or obtain
Experience maintaining gardens, including handling and caring for a variety of plant material
Experience designing and installing perennial, annual, and seasonal container plantings
Experience supervising employees
Good organization and communication skills
A grasp of proper use and handling for a variety of tools/equipment, or a willingness to learn

DUTIES:

The landscape management supervisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Manage a job-site in a safe and organized manner
Display a level of professionalism and integrity that positively represents GREENSTONE
Design and install a variety of landscape enhancements, focusing on both quality and efficiency
Acquire new clientele and maintain relationships with existing clientele
Research, locate and order all job materials as needed
Recruit, train, and manage employees as needed to keep up with work demand
Keep record of, and communicate, on-site progress
Continue education in order to learn new skills/techniques, and keep up with trends in the industry
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment
