Do you know a student looking for a rewarding internship? Internships at Denver Botanic Gardens provide students with hands-on experience working alongside world-renowned researchers and horticulturists in a public garden.

Project-based and Meaningful
Denver Botanic Gardens’ horticulture internships are project-based, meaning that for the duration of their tenure with us, interns are charged with completing or continuing meaningful work for our department, institution and field. Interns also work throughout the Gardens, gaining a crucial working knowledge of public horticulture collections stewardship. When conditions allow, interns participate in field trips exploring Colorado horticulture and the diverse native ecosystems of the Rocky Mountain region. Additionally, interns are offered professional development opportunities through seminars and conferences, staff-led workshops and industry networking.

Four, Full-time, Paid Internships
This year we are offering four paid, full-time summer internships, from May 30 to August 17 within the Horticulture Department in the following areas:

  • Plant Records Curation and Mapping
