 The Tennessee Department of Agriculture will have a full-time, Horticulturist position available at the Ellington Agricultural Center (EAC) in Nashville, TN. Along with general grounds maintenance duties, the ideal candidate will be involved in planning, implementing, and maintaining new and existing landscapes throughout the EAC campus. Other duties will include greenhouse production, seasonal holiday decorating and assisting with various department events. This position will also involve working with other professionals in the industry to develop and maintain the Ellington Arboretum, Trail System, Rain Gardens, Museum, and Iris Gardens. 

Due to the nature of this role and the responsibilities being located on campus, this position is not eligible for working remotely. Candidates should be self-motivated, creative, organized, and dedicated. We are looking to fill this position in late spring/early summer. Salary range for this position is $30,156 - $48,216 annually depending upon education and experience. This position also includes full benefits.
