Plant Health Care Technician We are a full-service tree care company working in the greater Ann Arbor, MI area with a focus on preserving and improving the health, beauty, and safety of our clients’ trees. Our growth continues, and we need to add another member to our team. We are searching for someone who is driven, takes initiative, and will thrive in the fast-paced PHC world!

We are looking for an arborist with a Michigan Pesticide Applicator’s License (Core & 3B categories) who is interested in the treatment of trees and shrubs (fertilization, fungicide/insecticide sprays, injections, soil and root work, etc.) while working independently as part of a larger, supportive team.

Ideal candidates for this position will meet the following qualifications:

Michigan Pesticide Applicators License prior to beginning work (Core & 3B)
Chauffeur's License (or ability to obtain one quickly)
Physically fit and athletic
Willing and able to work 8-10 days in adverse weather conditions when necessary
Sharp, creative, collaborative, and self-reliant
Motivated to learn, advance, achieve goals, and contribute to a team
Interested in trees, working hard, being outdoors, climbing, physics, biology, chemistry, engineering, problem solving, or art
ISA Certified Arborist *not required but preferred*
IPM experience working with trees
College degree (any major although a major in a field related to arboriculture is ideal)

Wage & Benefits:

$18 - $24/hr. introductory wage depending on skills, experience, credentials, resume, references,
