Responsibilities may include but not limited to: population genetic, phylogenetic, genomic and transcriptomic analyses of oomycete pathogens, Fusarium solani and Fusarium oxysporum species complexes, and Phyllachora maydis. Duties will also include coordinating with and assisting graduate students as needed and overseeing undergraduate students who may be working on these projects. Compiling, analyzing and summarizing results in preparation for writing reports, manuscripts and articles for publication and incorporating results into presentations is expected.
Exceptional candidates from all areas of Plant Pathology, Biology, Agronomy, or agriculture-related field will be considered.
