Position

This is the leadership position for the team that specializes in the installation of new landscaping, and the care of annuals, perennials, shrubs, small trees, and landscape features. Basic responsibilities include:

 

  • Orienting and training team members
  • Preparing landscape beds
  • Planting, mulching, watering, and fertilizing
  • Weeding and pruning
  • Controlling diseases and pests
  • Maintaining equipment

 

The work schedule is varied and may include weekends and holidays. Winter work includes snow removal.

Qualifications

  • A great attitude about life and work
  • An associates or undergraduate degree in horticulture or a related field
  • At least two years of horticulture experience, preferably in a four-season climate
  • A Commercial Pesticide Applicator certification for ornamentals
  • A clean driving record and valid driver’s license
