We are now accepting applications for Spring & Summer Sales Associates at 2 of our locations! This paid position offers a well-rounded, hands-on experience with a focus on retail sales in addition to all aspects of managing a retail nursery. Join our team and learn nearly every aspect of working at an independent garden center.

Tasks:

Clearly and respectfully communicate with customers to uncover their plant needs
Offer exceptional customer service through knowledge based suggestions
Offer landscape design ideas and solutions
Manage inventory including unloading/loading plant material and hard goods
Identify quality issues while maintaining high plant standards
Maintain a clean and well merchandised sales yard

Qualifications:

Good organization skills and multitasking abilities
Working conditions are primarily outdoors and the ability to work in all types of weather is essential
Must be able to lift up to 50
Must have general tree, shrub and basic landscape design knowledge

Schedule:

Hourly position based on 30-40+ hours a week
Six day work week may arise during peak season
Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9am to 7pm and Sunday from 10am to 6pm
